Taco Seasoning - The Best
Cuisine: Mexican
Ingredients
- ¼ tsp of red pepper flakes
- ¼ tsp of onion powder
- ½ tsp of dried oregano
- ½ tsp of paprika
- ½ tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1½ tsp of cumin
- 1 tbsp of chili powder
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together and store in air tight container until ready to use. The recycled emptied glass spice bottles come very handy.
- Brown your meat and drain the fat. We use ground turkey (brown meat) and there is barely any fat to remove.
- Use 2 tbsp per 1 lb of meat and add ⅓c of water. Feel free to add more or use less. But this ratio is the sweet spot for our family.
- Simmer until the water is absorbed. And voila!!!
